🎯 Editorial Bounty
The ENS DAO Newsletter is now opening a bounty for articles + editorial coverage of events, interviews, and guest writer features.
This is a call for multilingual writers who wish to publish content in their native language. We have published editorials in English and Spanish, and are seeking more participation in non-English language long-form writing.

🗓 ENS Calendar
Keep up with important dates by subscribing to the ENS DAO's calendar. The Working Group Stewards have restructured meeting times for Q4 2022:
No working group meetings will take place the week of November 21st. Additionally, there will not be any working group calls from December 16th through the New Year to accommodate the holiday schedule and onboard new stewards.
Note: There are three remaining working group calls for the year.

📝 Ecosystem Updates
🐣 DAO Endowment
The Meta-Gov stewards have chosen Karpatkey, Avantgarde, and Llama as finalists. On November 18th, these finalists will be put before a DAO vote to determine the winner.

🎂 ENS DAO One Year Anniversary Celebration
November 8th marked the one-year anniversary of the ENS DAO’s token launch. The constitution was ratified on November 15th, 2021.
If you would like to change the delegation of your tokens, you can do it gas-free for one month at delegate.ens.domains. Gas-free delegation periods will continue semi-annually before each steward election cycle.

💰 Ecosystem Grants
Project: Planetable.xyz
Planet is a native macOS app for building, browsing, and following dWeb content on IPFS + ENS. It’s a GUI consisting of a dWeb content reader, a two-column markdown editor, a static website generator, and a built-in IPFS node.)
Steward Commentary:
In consultation with the .eth website subgroup, we have agreed on a grant of 10,000 USDC for @planetable.eth. Planetable brings ENS to MacOS users and to the blogging community, with hundreds of blogs already created by their tool. Planetable continuing efforts to integrate with as many tools as possible, tie the ENS ecosystem together. We’re looking forward to seeing what Planetable will do next.

🔴 Optimism Resolver
matoken.eth, developer at ENS Labs, is working on the Optimism resolver. This resolver borrows security from rollup-based chains such as Optimism so that users can resolve names stored off-chain without additional trust assumptions.

🔤 Name Normalization
Raffy continues work on ENS name normalization, which standardizes ENS names that includes emojis, special characters and more. To keep up with the conversation, check out the ongoing discussion here. For more details on what exactly name normalization is, check out official ENS Documentation which goes in-depth.

Through the month of November, the ENS DAO is offering gas free delegation. This is a continuation of a discussion that began in the Forum. The DAO has 3 ETH set aside to fund these transactions, and will top up as necessary.
