Managing decentralized finance (DeFi) activities often comes with challenges related to transparency and privacy. Rotki, a privacy-focused portfolio management tool, addresses these challenges by providing users with tools that emphasize data ownership and security. Supported by the ENS DAO’s Large Grants Initiative, Rotki has achieved significant milestones, including the integration of Odos DEX across all EVM chains and support for ExtraFI on Optimism and Base. These advancements empower users to better manage their DeFi activities with enhanced transparency and control.
For more details on Rotki's portfolio management capabilities and approach, refer to our previous article, 'Rotki: Privacy-First Portfolio Management.
Odos is a decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator and token swap optimizer that connects various blockchain protocols and liquidity sources to find the most efficient trading routes, reducing transaction costs like gas fees. Central to this system is the Odos Router, which acts as a protective layer over contract operations. The router ensures secure and accurate token swaps by verifying user approvals, supporting various swap types, and managing approval mechanisms for enhanced transaction security.
Rotki's integration of the Odos Swaps allows users to track and analyze their Odos-related activities directly within the platform, improving their ability to manage and oversee DeFi transactions.

ExtraFI (Extra Finance) is a decentralized finance protocol specializing in lending and leveraged yield farming on L2 networks such as Optimism and Base, which offer better scalability and lower transaction costs. ExtraFI enables users to participate in yield farming through deposits, liquidity provision, and borrowing.
With Rotki’s integration, users can now track activities such as deposits, rewards, withdrawals, and borrowing events across different chains. This feature offers a comprehensive overview of financial assets, contributing to better transparency and control over DeFi investments.

Through the support of the ENS DAO Q3 Large Grants Program, Rotki has enhanced its portfolio management tools by integrating Odos DEX Swaps and ExtraFI, emphasizing user transparency and control. These advancements, made possible by a 25k USDC grant, reinforce Rotki’s position as an open-source solution for managing DeFi activities.
The Large Grants initiative from the Public Goods Working Group funds essential Ethereum and Web3 public goods projects, providing up to 50k USDC for initiatives that demonstrate strong utility and impact.
