ENS DAO Grants aim to provide substantial funding opportunities for foundational public goods within the Ethereum and Web3 ecosystems. These grants allow projects to request tailored funding amounts, ranging from 12k to 50k USDC, supporting impactful initiatives that demonstrate exceptional usefulness or a proven track record of benefiting users or developers.
ENS DAO Grants emphasize intentionality and impact, ensuring that allocated funds support meaningful contributions to the ecosystem. By offering this pathway for funding, ENS DAO fosters innovation and sustains critical projects driving growth and development within the space.
With a total funding pool determined for each term, ENS DAO Grants serve as a key resource for projects seeking structured and strategic financial support. These grants are complemented by a rigorous application and evaluation process, ensuring alignment with the overarching mission to empower and expand the Web3 community.
The Builder Grants platform is an initiative by ENS to fund and support impactful public goods within the Ethereum and Web3 ecosystems. It offers a streamlined process for developers, educators, and innovators to secure funding for their projects. Applicants start by submitting a detailed proposal outlining their project’s goals and potential impact. Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis by the Public Goods Working Group, focusing on usefulness and ecosystem contributions. If approved, grantees work on milestones they define, with progress reviewed at each stage. Upon successful completion, they can apply for additional funding to continue scaling their efforts.
Apply for a Grant: Begin by sharing details of your project, ensuring your submission aligns with the eligibility criteria and clearly communicates the impact and usefulness of your project within the Ethereum or broader Web3 ecosystem.
Review Process: Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by the Public Goods Working Group stewards on a rolling basis. They will evaluate your project based on its usefulness and impact.
Deliver Your Milestones: If selected, you'll work on the milestones outlined in your submission. While withdrawals do not require approval, each grant stage and its milestones will be reviewed by the stewards. Ensure that proof of completion is clear.
Apply for Another Stage: After successfully completing your milestones, you may be eligible to apply for additional funding or future grant opportunities to continue developing and scaling your public good.
